Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
Barrera made it seem you learn more from the streets of Mexico City than from an Olympic pedigree background. Barrera Ko'ed my prediction, but right when the bell rang I heard these guys say Barrera
was old, and I just knew they were wrong.
This was the first time I rooted for Barrera in a fight. When you truely root for a guy, your just happy
he's winning rather than him being entertaining.
Morales Barrera IIII or Pacquiao Barrera II !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reads like MAB did what he had to do tonight. A focused MAB is too tough to beat. Great job as always wacko.
You must be the change you want to see in the world. --Mahatma Gandhi
all I know is I've waited forever to hear Larry Merchant throw a body shot, and I finally got it tonight, thank God for Saddo's... that was brutal
Down Goes Frazier!!! Down Goes Frazier!!! Down Goes Frazier!!!
dont try to tell me im wrong about which judges to look out for, moretti and giampa both had that fight way too close, juarez did NOTHING, barrera is the man
hey SAL how were u able to see the fight at 1am? is there some like underground website or cable channel that i dont know about?Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
I told you guys MAB was not done and put on a boxing masterclass. However,I have 1 big complaint, those 2 fucking judges should be fired, how the hell was there only a 2 round difference?! WTF where they watching?
Juarez is one of the most disappointing fighters out there, and to me it shows all the amateur stuff REALLY means nothing,he had no good jab,no bodywork I didn't think he deserved a rematch and you saw why. Like I said, that was the best of Juarez and the worst of MAB in the first fight. I know it sounds harsh but I think someone like Humberto Soto would have made for a much much tougher fight and I'm sure he is ranked high enough to get a shot.
Soto would have been a harder fight his looping shots and up in the air chin would be picked off all day by Barerra. Would like to see Barerra against Barrios(exciting fight no matter what) or Guzman now.
Soto is more compact than Juarez and Barrios. He does not loop many shots at all,he was beatin Juarez to the punch with alot of straight shots and you can see him straight shots agains Valle too. His defence is good and when he gets tired,he seems to have a rock like chin. He also seems to thrive in the spotlight and is way way more active than Juarez and way way more accurate than Barrios. Guzman looks like a great fighter, very skilled but he also looks lazy at times and I don't know how good he is at cutting off the ring, using the jab etc.Originally Posted by Starr
When did Barerra mouth off and hit beat on his own chin? What round was it again?Originally Posted by El Gamo

It was just how I knew it was guna be . No way was it guna be a war again . Rocky can only fight that way against an off form Barrera but against a prepared champion he had no chance . It was a clinic and it didnt add many more miles to the clock .
Abit concerned he keeps mentioning retirement though . He got mean in teh last 10 seconds but I wanted to see him nean from the start , ramming Juarez' head against the ring post and trying to puncture his kidneys with the body shots . Still a good performance though proving his leagues above the comp

It's a near impossibility to maintain compusure with 3-4 people asking questions & crowing in you ear. So here goes the fixes:

Right & left hook by Barrera. Juarez to the body. Barrera controlling. 1-2 from Juarez. Straight right the most effective. 1-2-3 again..
I hope that helped wiht the big outlook.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
Wack you don't need to apologise to anyone here, you are doing us all a big favour with your DRBR's! CC my man!
Too right, Wacko's DRBR is a great thing round here. The more drunk, the more intriguing!! Wacks really cracked me up when he came back on and announced he'd fallen asleep...Originally Posted by El Gamo

Still, every once in a while is alright by my book.
Good job as always, Oh Wack one!![]()
