4-5% is ridiculous...the only people who get that low are pros who fight at the lowest weights and dry up for a fight 2-3 times a year.
Not Amatuers who fight almost as often as pro spars...can't maintain it... you'll do yourself in.
9-12% is healthy for a season
Your coach will decide what weight to put you in at.
