This is the first time I saw Frampton as a pro and if you have anymore like this fighter please send them over. The only thing that was wrong in the fight was his tense muscles in the first two rounds and man does he have skill, guts and power. Where are these guys hiding now I am spoiled. The referee missed his appointment to bathe in hot oil and maybe dine with some cobras in a snake pit or get a seeing eye dog to show him all the fowls he missed or give him lessons as a referee. Frampton however did well considering all the bullshit of an official that should hav been shown th door after rond two.

Frampton had a off night were the hell did Gonzales come from,! what a tough fighter he gave a
    good account of himself.
Frampton looked out of sorts, but he got dropped twice, but he got up to win he showed the heart
of a champion, Barry Mac must have had a Eastwood moment when Carl got dropped,! what he
was thinking would a easy defense, turned into a nightmare.

I think its clear Frampton has more toughness than Quigg , however I think quigg hits harder . The fight needs to happen , I like Quigg he is a nice bloke but Frampton seems like a bit of nob.

I think Frampton showed a lot last night.

We already knew that he can punch, he is a solid boxer and is exciting to watch. Now we know that he can climb off the canvas, keep his head together and figure out a way to win when he's up against it. In many ways it was more impressive than if he'd just blown the guy away.

I've always been very impressed by him and I think he's the real deal. Good little fighter and pretty tough with it. It seems he's had some real trouble making the weight, so he'll undoubtedly move up now. Looking forward to seeing where he goes from here. I still believe 100% that he beats Quigg.

I don't think you can say he 'climbed off the canvas' he touched down but didn't exactly get dropped and wasn't overly hurt by them, but I get what you are saying he kept his cool and came back from an extremely poor round.

He did look tense in the opening couple of rounds though, do you think the occasion got to him just a wee bit and it took a few rounds to compose himself?

I still have him beating Quigg as well

if you think about it Gonzalez was 11th Super Bant in mexico

there are 240+ professionals in the division in mexico, there are 20+ in Britain

Quigg and Frompton are the top 2 in Britain so the chaos theory suggests that there should be 10 Quiggs and 10 Framptons in mexico

Gonzalez would probably be right up there in britain
