I guess my question is more about who is the biggest Canadian boxing star? Does Lemiuex have a chance at being a star? In his prime, Bute packed stadiums full of Quebecois.

Yea Bute was popular for sure. I remember being in Montreal before and when he fought Jesse Brinkley of all people, and there were big posters up all over, a buzz in the city the day of the fight, was the kind of thing you'd only may have seen before May-Pac in any other City/Province. Lemiuex has the best chance of being a star for sure, depending on how you rate his chances of actually becoming a great fighter of course. Given that he is actually a native Quebecer and very exciting to watch, it's probably not even close as far as the potential to sell tickets.
