He was also banned for a year by the Austrian boxing authorities for cheating against pulev. I think we can dismiss all his recent wins over the last few years.

Makes you wonder if he required PEDs to "break his wife's hip"
I don't really feel that whatever he was using was that big of a deal in the rematch.
In the 2nd fight, IMO you saw Price fall apart more than you saw a great performance out of Thompson.
David Price was the guy who couldn't close the show, he was the guy who gassed out after 3 or 4 rounds and mentally collapsed.
If it was a tough fight that went into the later rounds, you can concede that the drugs might have given Thompson an edge. But it didn't - Price was just dog shit that night.
Erik Morales was doping against Danny Garcia in their second fight and got absolutely destroyed.

Thompson beat Solis too and we will find out that was on drugs too 2017.

Doping is bad enough but just as bad is a system set up to expose and prevent it losing it in the red tape and Thompson meanwhile collecting 4 paydays.

I don't think the outcome of Price vs Thompson II would have been different whether Thompson was doping or not.
The thing that pisses me off is the fact that decisions were being made about Price's career while UKAD sat on information that should been released as soon as UKAD learned about it. I can only imagine how Price must feel about that crock of shit!

Agree that its strange it could take this long.. Wouldn't any fighter who has failed before have just filed an appeal then? It's not like Thompson has a bunch of pull or anything. I do remember him talking to the media around this time, saying that drugs should just be legalized because you never know who is using anyways and the testing doesn't work. Pretty brass thing to have said if he was currently using something that's for sure, maybe the guy has a sense of irony.
