I saw some of this in the pub. Campbell can box but doesn't have a lot of power.

I think he has the power, but for all his boxing prowess, he needs to learn to make the space to exploit it. I think Coyle realised quite early that he was just going to try and nullify him and hang on to survive as long as possible. It's early in Campbells pro career and I think he will learn to walk more ambitious opponents onto more shots. He is hard to tag cleanly and so even if his power is found wanting at a higher level( which I don't think it will) he can still win matches clearly.
Coyle is a pretty sturdy brave fella and Campbell dealt with the job in front of him. We are all a bit dissapointed because he didn't finish him early, which I thought he would, but really other than that he could not have been more dominant. Huge prospect still.
Joshua v White is the best matchup in Britain since Lennox v Gary Mason fought for the british title. Both have things to learn and bring big power.
I felt like Campbel could have had him out of there at any point after the 2nd round knockdown really but it felt like he was not letting his hands go for either round experience, caution because Tommy has power or just because Eddie wanted him to give Hull a worthwhile show. Other than the length it went on, he fought a pretty much perfect fight.
Not sure on Whyte. I genuinely think Costa took a dive.
I reckon Campbell would beat all the Brit lightweights now - Mitchell, Burns, Crolla, Derry, Flanagan. He should be fast tracked now, as although he looks 14, he's 27 with shitloads of amateur experience.
Vicious left hand.

Rewatching the fights I missed the highlight of the night - Burns opponent caught his own towel. No wonder he was so disgusted with his trainer![]()
