Hard to see any of the current batch beating him. Crolla and Matthews would get smashed by him. Flannagan be a decent fight but you would still fancy Campbell.

I think he'd beat all of them now. Look at a formline through Coyle -- Matthews was getting a hiding when he ironed Coyle out and Matthews has beaten Crolla twice. Coyle was totally outclassed against Campbell.
Burns and Mitchell are different league to that mob (imo) but have the miles on the clock. Campbell to fresh/talented.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I've always thought he could be a future World Champion, but the Coyle fight shows he still has a long way to go imo. He has plenty of improvement in him and could be the best in the UK, but he's not a young novice like people think. I think he might be about 28, so he needs to progrees fairly swiftly.
I would love to see him fight Kevin Mitchell, we will know a lot more after that.

I thought he was very impressive against Coyle in all departments (even though I expected a quicker stoppage).
With his wealth of amateur experience it could be argued he should have been way beyond Brit level already (although admittedly he's had lots of outside the ring problems with his dad's illness and whatnot)

Mitchell was seated prominently in the TVseats at the weekend. They're going to make that fight next or the one ofter next. I think he's definitely the best in the UK at the minute but he doesn't seem to have a lot of power and his chin isn't proved yet. If all of a sudden he can't make 135 and he has to fight a world level puncher it could get a bit tricky.

He doesn't have a lot of power? Maybe if you're comparing him with Julian Jackson. 12-0 (10 KOs) - he has a vicious left hand.
Mitchell - along with half the stable - is ringside at every Matchroom card. Be a cracking fight if they do make it though.

Campbell says the Coyle fight felt like his "first professional fight"

Crolla only lost to Matthews once, the 2nd fight was a draw that I thought Crolla did enough to win in. Burns is still the best right now, but I can see he is fading. I think Mitchell's power is world class, but his inability to risk a tear up costs him. I don't see anything overly special in Flanagan. Campbell has the potential to be better than them all though.

Derry Matthews would be a test and I think he'd struggle against such experience.
I have Derry number one in Uk just now.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Not sure if he's the best yet, although he has the potential to be. Bouts with Burns and Mitchell would be stern tests and victories over those two would propel him onto the world scene.
He'll be world champ no doubt... He showed veteran patience and composure last time out. His style is a very efficient one.

I think he is a few levels above most in the Country now,! he's good to watch which is
what you want, Kirk thinks he can't punch but we must ask Coyle he may beg to differ.![]()
