Yet another example of why Socialism does not work
Yes, I think it's a great example.
My socialist-leaning buddy sent me this when it happened, and was like "yeaaah man like if every boss did this imagine how great the world would be?"
And I'm thinking, I work in broadcasting business where there are tight deadlines, stresses and pressures to perform and deliver. If the person who's sweeping the floors is making the same as me, what's my motivation to go to school and learn the technology and then face all the stress and pressures? Hand me a mop, I'll turn my iPod on, go at my own pace and have no stress or pressure.
It can never work!

I studied this shit at University and pontificate on it frequently. In socialism nobody is earning the same. You are wrong. It is simply a progressive system where the rich pay more taxes and we respect workers rights. You might have confused socialism with Communism, but I assumed you were Canadian and not quite so mentally drained.

That stuff is very basic, but you North Americans have issues with the terms. You generally haven't got a clue about the most basic of definitions. A socialist is not a Communist. If you want to call someone a Communist then cool as long as it is true.

Absolutely, I learned diddly squat from studying politics. I have had to recondition myself completely and at this stage I have a far better understanding of the realities of the Western political, media, business and economic systems. You look at the average American and have to feel a bit sorry for them really. The average person studying humanities is likewise someone to feel a bit sorry for. They don't know any better. Obvious products of the education/propaganda system that is thrown at them daily. A lot of very awake people out there too, but they are still a minority. Yes, they really hate you for your freedoms Mr. I haven't got a clue about globalisation and contemporary slavery.
