Yeah, I remember Bowe & Newman claiming if Lennox got the belt- it would have to be out of the trash- really shameful move for Bowe.

He demanded to fight for the belt because he was ranked as the mandatory- then turn around & claim he shouldn't have to be told who his mandatory was.

As far as their Olympic fight. Bowe IMO showed back then how well he could fight from the inside- those uppercuts were well placed.

Personally I don't really think either of the last two standing 8 counts were needed. Nevertheless the ref called it on a single right hand & Bowe didn't complain.
