Belt Rot. Not to be confused with Root Rot but guilty of the same effects from the same cause. Belt rot is a condition found in all boxing Organizations although much more common in the Wba and Wbc because of poor drainage. As the name states, the Belt begins to rot do to over watering ending in decay.

I'm not one of those "glory days" fans, but it must have been nice back in the days when you had to win a bunch of fights in a row to get a shot at a title, when you had to actually fight at the weight division (and not a special catchweight) to win that division's belt, and when you actually had to fight and win a world title (and not have it "bestowed" on you when some other guy got stripped of it).

This is a good fight for me. Khabib was robbed against Vargas so should already be a world champ. This wont be easy for Broner and a loss here pretty much ends his career.

I bet Broner doesn't make weight. Or if he does make it it's due to training in a sauna for the last week before the fight. I'm going to pick him to lose anyway.

So they and the wba actually "requested" him . This is simply trying to put the magic back in the hype hat and sell himself on "four division champ" rather than actually winning the big one Its a hoodwink. Khabib is decent but will be very undersized and off long layoff. His TD against Guzman should be a KO..he beat him UP, and Vargas was very close..not a robbery.

If this guy has, or at least has a claim to have beaten Joan Guzman and Vargas, I don't see why this shouldn't be at least a good fight. Guy is also only 24 and a southpaw, he'll know this is a huge chance for him as well. If he has a career best camp for this one and Broner fights the way he has been, who knows?
