My point is he's not getting paid $300 million (or whatever) only for 36 minutes of work. There's thousands and thousands of minutes involved in getting him ready for the fight, which in my mind starts when the fight is signed. Add those up... and you have a better idea of how much he's getting paid per minute.

For sure, and then you also have to factor in press obligations. The big media tour, interviews, conference calls, flying all over the world promoting the fight, ect.

But of course any way you slice it, Floyd and Manny made an obscene amount of money. And good for them. They are both guys who weren't handed shit in the business, who weren't supposed to be superstars and worked their way up from ground zero. So good for them, I'll never get upset about fighters making a ton of money.
