That is true, they were past it. Whitaker was WELL past it and in a real bad way with the cocaine use.

Tito was what he was: a GREAT puncher and a good boxer who brought a lot of excitement to the masses and was in some massive fights.

He came up against some really slick guys - DLH, Winky, B-Hop - and he didn't have the ring IQ to crack those puzzles. But I don't think there is any shame in losing to those guys.

Titofan -- don't bury your head in the sand just because your hero has been proven to be a little less than you believed. He lost to truly great fighters. No shame in that.
