Good luck Tam. He looks a bit slippery.

Had great sparring in Liverpool yesterday with professional Dayle Gallagher, a 11-1 heavyweight and former oppoent Martin Jackson. I boxed well against all three but all three were good lads. I'm 7 pounds off the weight with 2 weeks and 6 days to go !!!

How's it going? Can't wait to get in there or glad you have more time to prepare? Some of both probably.
Pulling for you, give him hell!

Training is going very well I did 12 hard rounds none stop with an unbeaten ABA amatuer who's got a very bright furure in the sport. We both did really well. My diet is spot on and the weight is coming off everyday. I'm going back up to Liverpool for more sparring on Saturday. Training hard tonight, Thursday off and then a good circuit and pads work out on friday. My fitness is getting there and it's only going to improve. Fights two weeks on Saturday so I still have good preparation time. Feel really excited for this one though, kind of how Hatton was feeling vs tszyu haha. Only thing on my mind 24/7. That's why I've not seen the dieting side as a problem because I want to be at my best for this one. I'm going to give it my best shot and I'm very excited.
You can probably all expect me to box at least another 6 times by the end of the year too haha.

Do not burn yourself out and over train. Make sure you rest and have a good nights sleep.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I lost my by 1 pointim not being bitter but I thought I did enough and minimum it was a draw. It was the best I've ever boxed by a mile. First round he outboxed me from being too quick and staying on the back foot and letting his hands go. The second round I won clearly, I was very aggressive and was in full control. Until I was the third round again IT was close but I thought I did enough, and so did a lot of people in the crowd and my corner. I would have take a draw on the chin but not a lose. He was a very good boxer though, and a really sound lad. I'm gutted because it was my best performance to date In the ring against a former pro who's had 300 fights.
After the first round he outboxed me clearly and my friend saw him having a laugh about it so ive heard but the second and third round I went for it. On the front foot and worked so well and thought I did enough for the win. I did myself proud though being very inexperienced compared to him and he knew he was in a real fight.
He was a sound sound lad though and we both gave each other good praise after, hopefully a rematch will come in the not too distance future. He's one of the best semi pro boxers in the country and for me to compete like I did has given me
So much confidence. I don't feel like a loser , ive learnt a hell out a lot from it. He officially one by 1 point , it won't be long till the YouTube video will be up and you will all see.
Back in the ring November 6th. I'm off to ibiza next week for 5 days, then Dublin for what was suppose to be lee-Saunders and then my 25th bday im seeing the Liam smith MEN card. So after that ive got a good 4 week camp and I'll be training in between as per usual.
Gutted about tonight though, but I've shown when I'm at 13 stone I can really mix it with the best in the country. I've got a tiny black eye but that's it. I'll get the video up asap
Couple of pictures from the fight
