The more guns there are the more chance they could fall into the wrong hands.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Dude collects guns, I don't see the big deal.
If you're fit to have 1, you're fit to have 100 IMO.
Doesn't make you any more dangerous. You can only fire one at a time anyway (or two, Hard Boiled style).

At one time I had 7 guns, 5 air rifles and 2 shot guns, that's the most I ever own at one

I do believe we do need a new set of 'General Rules' here in the United States.
The NRA should lead the charge, otherwise somebody is going to 'Tax' the hell out
of ammunition.
She had always conducted herself responsibly and legally. Who has ever had a child and thought "my baby is a lunatic that will someday murder me and go on a killing rampage"? And, if we agree that children should not pay for the sins of their parents, how do you justify restricting the rights of a parent based on what their child may or may not do at some future time?
Before Katrina none, after Katrina two.
I feel like it's a huge self fulfilling thing, that doesn't reflect the mentality of the owner at all. I've never held a gun in my life, and I'm from a city where nobody ones own aside from the odd legal owner who goes out to the firing range. If I for some reason moved to a certain neighborhood in America, and heard about some violent robbery happening within any reasonable distance of me, I'd want to go out and buy a sawed off shotgun ASAP. Anyone who wants to tell me that makes me less responsible to own a gun would get shot in the face for no reason. FACT.
Who knows, grey.... I might.
Still, I think my objection is pretty much summed up below.
Look at the Adam Lanza shooting spree. The guy pretty helped himself to an assortment of all sorts of guns owned by his mother, much like Arnold shopping for guns in that armory in that very old movie, "Commando". The woman, had she lived, should have been brought up on charges of major stupidity on at least two counts.
Having that many guns easily accessible in her home.
And two..... with a mentally unstable son like that, she should've never been allowed to have any guns in her house in the first place.
It was all too easy.
