    January 1973

Howie Steindler - Manager for Danny 'Little Red' Lopez.

I wish the WBA or WBC would start to campaign for a Super-Bantamweight Division.

There a lot of great boxers out there who are too big for Bantamweight {118 lbs.} and
just too small for Featherweight {126 lbs.}.

In the Orient {OPBF and Japan} they have this Division at 122 lbs. > and it is by far the
    most competitive.

The 8-Pound difference between Bantam and Feather, it's just too big for some of these
kids to overcome here in California.

~ Undefeated 'Little Red' KO's Carrasco In First Round ~

Danny Lopez scored his 16th Straight win, with all his wins coming by way of Kayo, as he starched
Mexican - Jorge Carrasco at {2:13} of the 1st Round.

But, it wasn't as easy as it appeared, as 'Little Red' had to withstand a wave of heavy-blows from the
visiting Mexican, before putting Carrasco down.

Carrasco came out blazing, and shook Lopez immediately with a solid 'left-right' to the head. Then both
fighters went toe-to-toe trading punches for the next 2-Minutes. Carrasco caught Lopez with several
good right-hands to the face, and opened up a cut on the left-side of his nose.

Just as it looked like the Mexican was getting the better of the exchanges, Lopez came in with a tremendous
straight-right to the head, and left-hook to the jaw.

    Carrasco crashed to the canvas on his back where he was counted out by Referee - Rudy Jordan at {2:13}
    of the 1st-Round.

Jorge Carrasco was on his back for 2-Minutes, before he could be lifted up.

~ Short Fight For Danny Lopez ~

Danny Lopez has his eye's on opponent Jorge Carrasco, before delivering a solid 'right-left'
to the head, putting the Mexican down and out at {2:13} of the 1st Round.

The action was exciting-and-heated over the first 2-Minutes, as it was a toe-to-toe slugfest
for the short time that it lasted.

Jorge Carrasco was getting better of the exchanges, before he was put away by the lethal
    power of 'Little Red'.

It's amazing to think you could probably do a story similar to this one from every major city in the U.S., over and over again.

Bill, you are going to have to start working harder because I've become addicted to your work. Let me think, what can we do to get your output up? I mean besides paying you. Lol
