David Haye was (is) one of the most successfully managed boxers in recent history, why? He did it himself! £1m for fighting a hyped up Frank Warren Enzo Macaroni? Another £1m for fighting Audrey? He took serious risks fighting Mormec and Valuev to win world titles to then get these money fights, and he has managed his career brilliantly. He wont be appearing in the press anytime soon having spunked his money on whores/drugs/gambling/dodgy investments. And personally I wouldn't bet against him making a comeback, he would do Wilder or Fury easily, if either of them beat Vlad I'm sure he will come back into the mix. Good luck to him.

It seems like whoever put the list together doesn't understand the value of money. Either that or they're just a feckin' idiot.

How can a guy worth $30 million be ranked higher than someone worth $250 million?

Other than the fact that I just don't give a shit who the richest boxer is.... since it does nothing to enhance my boxing viewing pleasure..... I also think it's incorrect to make a list like this and include Floyd. Floyd may be the richest right now.... but he hasn't had the time to squander his entire fortune just yet. Let's face it... he's not the brightest bulb in the light store. I'd look at successful businessmen far removed from their boxing years. Guys like Sugar Ray Leonard, Larry Holmes (who I hate, but he's been successful), even Oscar. Others have squandered away their fortunes, like Trinidad (yeah... lousy investments), Tyson (pack of leeches), and an assortment of others who may have literally smoked their earnings into the ground.
