Default 55,000 sell out for Fury v Klitschko

Has there been a bigger anticipated attended heavyweight fight?

Especially when you consider it involves someone making their first challenge.

Wladimir Klitschko vs Tyson Fury worth over £30m with heavyweight showdown set for 55,000 sell-out - Mirror Online

I think the audience is so big because its a win win scenario , we either see the end of an era and lets face it Wlad isn't easy on the eye , or the likely idiotic fury carried out on a stretcher , I for one will be watching it.

My prediction - Wlad wins KO 2.

10-1 on bet365 for klit in rounds 1-3, not a bad bet. The wording is 'to win in rounds 1-3' so the DQ is covered, my guess is that Tiresome will try a fast start and attempt to fight dirty and foul. The ref needs to be on his game if Vlad isn't.

I have a signed (by both) Empire Pool Wembley poster of him versus Joe Bugner on the wall above my PC screen.

I was at the fight, not Richards finest hour. Met him at a charity do with Bugner years later, he's having a whale of a time with his daughter running him around to boxing dinners/shows etc. He is a very nice old boy.

I can see why it's likely to be a sell out.

It's an intriguing fight to say the least. We really don't know how good or bad Fury really is and this is where we get to find out for certain one way or the other.

Fury is "colourful" and people are going to want to see this regardless of who they want to win. I'm looking forward to it. I just hope Fury gives it his all and doesn't make a complete mug of himself and the paying public like Haye did.

Wlad is diabolical, always getting someone else to sell out his shows.

Hey Ross, what is Fury's previous high ticket sale?

Going to be a lot of disappointed Brits as well as a lot of resigned ones.

I can't speak for others but I want to see him get knocked out.
Should be exciting while it lasts.

Fury is yet to fight for a world title.

How many world title fights has Wlad had?

I've not looked forward to a heavyweight fight for a long time

This is intriguing. Is Fury good enough or is he just a big lump - who knows !

Can't see Wlad finishing him early, he just doesn't do that. Fury needs to make his size count.

    My prediction.........Fury in 7 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
