FEATHERWEIGHT:
Leo Santa Cruz (31-0-1, 17 KOs) formerly third at Super-Bantamweight enters at number five after winning a twelve round majority decision over previous number six Abner Mares (29-2-1, 15 KOs) in a fight that was full of activity from start to finish. Mares slips to seventh. Evgeny Gradovich (19-1-1, 9 KOs) moves down a place from fifth to sixth. Everyone rated seven to nine last time falls a spot each to accommodate Santa Cruz’ entry. Eric Hunter (21-3, 11 KOs) is squeezed out of the top ten for the time being.
SUPER-BANTAMWEIGHT:
Former number three Leo Santa Cruz (31-0-1, 17 KOs) won a twelve round majority decision over previously sixth rated featherweight Abner Mares (29-2-1, 15 KOs) in a Featherweight bout. Santa Cruz exits as he intends to continue campaigning at Featherweight. Everyone rated four to six last time moves up a place each. Hugo Ruiz (35-3, 31 KOs) previously ninth drops to tenth after being stopped in the fifth round by Julio Ceja (30-1, 27 KOs) who enter the bout rated seventh at Bantamweight. Ceja who himself had to get off the floor from a knockdown in the third; enters at number six. Manuel Avila (18-0, 8 KOs) moves up from tenth to ninth.
BANTAMWEIGHT:
Julio Ceja (30-1, 27 KOs) formerly seventh exits as he is now rated and campaigning at Super-Bantamweight. Everyone rated eight through ten previously advances a spot each. Rau’shee Warren (13-1, 4 KOs) enters at number ten.
LIGHT-FLYWEIGHT:
Number three Paipharob Kokietgym (30-0, 23 KOs) scored a first round knockout over unrated Fanther Ndahiuw (7-4-1, 3 KOs). No changes.
