PPV is a dodo bird looking for that last female to bang or in this case the last sucker to blood-let. Most of the people that buy them don't even follow the sport. Oh it will hold out on some national levels. I mean look how long that circus fake WWF lasted. Hell it out sold boxing ppv's. They will figure out some way to hose us in the future but PPV as we have known it wont exist in a decade.

Back to the fight.

Brook is a by far the most talented of the bunch but a thought process has returned that I had dismissed after his last two fights. I am back to questioning his self confidence. I'm not sure why the Rios fight would get dumped on a rematch clause. Why did he feel he needed a rematch clause fighting at home against Rios? Its a voluntary defense so the Ibf would have most likely ordered one anyway. I'm sure the other top dogs never even considered a fight in London since they are making 7 figures fighting softies on Haymon tv.

Chaves most likely jumped at it like a life raft after all they called him the jewel early on and he has failed to deliver while expected to rise along with his amateur buddies Maidana and Mathysse. He also I am sure must consider the mandatory rematch clause as a sign of weakness. Are they expecting another Carson Jones moment? Don't get me wrong, I think Brook should beat Chaves but the demand for a rematch clause is troublesome. Skills may pay the bills but the brain is the conductor.
