As for Welter; if Maidana is removed this weekend my top 2 replacements to enter at tenth are:

Lamont Peterson, based on his debatable loss the Garcia (The fight happened in the 147 pound division) and the fact that Garcia is ranked ninth. I was not sure if Peterson was going to return to 140 but he is now set to face touted prospect Felix Diaz (17-0, 8 KOs) on Oct-17 at Welterweight.

Robert Guerrero, is 4-2 at Welterweight. With wins over Aydin, Berto, a war with Kamegai and the questionable win over Martinez. His 2 loses are to Mayweather and Thurman.

I am leaning towards Peterson based on their recent trajectories.
