~ After Bout Comments ~
Ruben Olivares >
He {Danny Lopez} was very strong. He's awkward, but strong as Hell. I hit him with many
hard punches, and he just kept coming.
Should I retire. Why. I fought a very good fight against one of the best Featherweights in the
World. I can fight again in 2-Months if I want to. I'm not hurt or beat up. A little bruised yes,
but not beat up.

Arturo 'Cuyo' Hernandez {Manager for Ruben Olivares} >
This would be a good time for Ruben to retire. He's had nearly 90-Bouts in the Ring, and
he's accomplished many things. He's a 4-Time World Champion.
I see no reason why Ruben should continue. He has to struggle hard just to get down to 128 lbs.,
and he can't make Featherweight anymore. He's nearly {Age; 29}, and it would be a long road
to get a Championship Bout now, even at 130 lbs. {Super Featherweight}.

Ruben shook me up a few times. But I was determined, and kept pushing forward. I knew that
I would either wear him down, or catch him with the right-hand.
I could see Ruben and me fighting again. After I win the Featherweight Title, I will give him
a chance at the Title, if he's still fighting next year.

We are trying to line up WBC Champion - David Kotey. But his Manager says that he has '2'
Title Defenses lined up for early-1976.
We are looking for a WBC Championship Bout in the Summer of 1976.
And, I'm not sure that WBA Champion - Alexis Arguello can make 126 lbs. anymore. And,
his Manager has said that he won't fight us here in Los Angeles.
