Karpency was trying to take the fight to Stevenson until Stevenson landed the lefthand that buckled Karpency's knees, from that point on Karpency was backing up and doomed to a short night.

Stevenson isn't going to beat Kovalev, but we shouldn't accuse him of avoiding him just yet. Stevenson has fought some "live" fighters. Karpency was just lucky to even get this fight. He did land one shot in the first that got me thinking hey maybe Karpency has gotten better than when I used to see him on ESPN...nope he's still crap.

Yeh he had the right idea and even landed a few decent shots, but Stevenson had that eraser. I was glad Stevenson finally sacked up and put Kovalev name in his mouth but doesn't mean a thing until you sign. I still see Adonis, or 'Pizza Chit' as Kovalev calls him, very stiff and rigid, I think Kovalev will knock him out. Watch his legs and the lurches he leaves himself in.
