Khan wipes the floor with boxers. Prov is a tank.
    Khan is really badly managed/advised.

Can see this being very similar to the Maidana fight - which in reality should probably have been stopped.

Peterson pretty much took control of the fight after about 3 or 4 rounds because he applied constant pressure. Maidana nearly killed him. Algieri tagged him plenty and Diaz sat him down. Even Collazo had sporadic success when applying pressure.

Stylistically Brook is a better fight for Khan than Prov. Khan makes his mistakes when he is forced to rush his work. Should be a belting fight mind.

I read a couple of days ago that Prov's people said Khan was avoiding their calls and they couldn't make the fight. Also that Khan was going to be fighting Mosley in Dubai. Would Haymon even make a fight with non-PBC Prov?

I'd love to see it. It'd be like Khan-Maidana probably. I fancy Prov though.

    Hey, what's happenin' Ono.

Hey, I agree with you, but at the same time- it could also be a bit of a double-standard from a fan's perspective. I mean if his manager advised him (right) Couldn't we call that cherry picking? Khan for all his faults & big mouth, really has taken on fights I respect him for.

With that said- I also agree with Master- either he boxes Prod's ears off, or succumbs to pressure. 50/50 split for me, I can't say. And if it goes as U stated-like Maidana- then isn't that a win for us fans?! Holla back!!!
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

This would be a fascinating fight in my opinion. My initial thoughts are that Prov will walk him down and destroy him. That being said, if Algieri was able to outbox and outmaneuver Prov, Khan has a good chance of doing the same. I'm tired of Amir waiting around for one of the top two big names to fight him, instead of forcing big fights by beating a number of the other available decent/respectable names out there (Prov, Brook, Bradley, Thurman, Porter...etc.). One last thought that makes me wonder how effective Prov will be vs. Khan is the fact that it will be at 147 vice 140, and aggressive/strong guys like Prov tend to lose that edge as they go up, even one weight class (think Kostya,, Hatton, Mayorga...etc.).

How brave of Khan to fight a guy 2-3 in his last 5.

I love Provodnikov but he's one dimensional and he doesn't jab.

How brave of Khan to fight a guy who was cleanly outboxed (mostly) by Algieri, Matthysse and Bradley already.

What a ballsy guy that Khan is.

And people say Floyd was a cherry picker? LOL.

How brave of Khan to fight a guy who's been mostly fighting at 140.
