Now that he's gone others will have to pick up his slack.

    Happy Retirement Floyd, T.B.E.
Retirement my ass, you are so gullible.
Floyd can retire or he can come back in a month, it's his choice, he's the face of boxing, he's the T.B.E, 19 years undefeated which has never been done, he writes his own ticket.

    Mayweather Jr will be back.

There's too much money to be generated from his fights & he will want to go for number 50, I'm certain of it.

With dipshits like you buying the tickets he will always come back.

I won't miss Floyd as a fighter as I think for a good decade with only a few exceptions he has picked and chosen his way to an unbeaten record. He was really fantastic on the way up, but at 140 and up he has been somewhat deceptive with his weights, timing of opponents etc. A fantastic fighter, but it became a business in the end. I guess some would argue that is all it is ever about, but some fighters will fight anyone at any time. I don't think Floyd has had that about him for a very long time. Floyd was also happy to really stink a lot of his fights out and I think when someone has paid to see you perform, you have no right to waste a single second. Even in the Berto fight you saw a lot of holding, posing, grappling, running about. It almost felt that Floyd was taking the piss. Again, maybe that is what it is about. Do enough to win the rounds and don't take any risks, but 75 dollars is a lot of money to not be given anything. It was on TV for free here, but that's not the point. Even free, that is not going to attract new fans. Boxing deserves better than Floyd, so I won't miss him too much. Floyd is the Madonna of boxing. He makes a lot of money and has a lot of fans, but you would never want to buy an album.
