I'm coming in late on this thread 'cause I haven't been around in awhile. Anyway, here's my two cents if you haven't resolved this issue yet - just buy one, less hassle...

It's the best one I found for the price and quality (and believe me, I scoured the web and all the boxing/martial arts supply stores far and wide in So Cal). So much so, that I posted a glowing review of it on the site because it's an outstanding product and also to return the favor to the owner, who sold me the stand for even less than the advertised sale price.
