Given the way they came up and the surrounding media push, they deserve each other. I remember watching Briggs in his first fights and thinking my god, what a joke. Perspective is that he was blown up and 'exposed' only to come back and have wars with top guys (and get a gift vs Foreman) in same amount of time it has taken Wilder to reach a "still developing" point.

True. And Wilder can be hit and Briggs can crack. I guess I just think both are so mediocre that having confidence either way is a bit silly.
