Do you see yourself bashing the younger generation as you get older?

I absolutely do bash the younger generation as I get older for some very obvious reasons that everyone must accept unless you are just being a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian.

The younger generation do not know a damn thing about this world. I know this because I have been teaching children and young adults for the past 8 years all over the world. They do not know who Adolphe Hitler is. They do not know who George Washington is. They do not know what World War 2 is. They do not know who the Rolling Stones or the Beatles are. They do not know what the Taj Mahal is. Then never heard of the Roman Empire. They never heard of the Ottoman Empire of course unless they were Turkish hahaha. They don't know anything about the Vietnam War. These kids only know how to point and click how to use their iPhones and their iPads and their iPods. These kids only know how to use Facebook and Twitter. People do not know how to spell words correctly anymore. If you compare these kids of today with the kids of 20 or 50 or 100 years ago these kids are on the border of being completely illiterate and completely ignorant of world history and of world culture and of anything else that you name.

They are an entire generation without purpose....no sex, no work, no family, no religion, no education, nothing....they have no foundation in the real world and my God that is scary.

Because they do not have a foundation, because they do not have purpose or direction....they don't value their own lives because there is nothing there TO value so how can they value anyone else's life?

Say what you will about organized religion, I myself like keeping my faith between me and God rather than putting it on blast and shoving it in everyone's faces but the fact is that religions DO at least attempt to promote healthy lifestyles. Have a family, be kind to others, have morals and values.

Just leaving an empty void isn't healthy...not that you HAVE to believe in God or not, but there MUST be morals and values, mores and folkways, tradition, some sort of foundation to who you are, why you are, how you are....just having nothing sends humanity back down the evolutionary ladder back to cavemen....society has a certain expectation of humans, if there were no expectations then chaos is just around the corner.



Just my 2 cents though.....I'm fine with whatever, I just want these youngsters to have a foundation of beliefs and I don't want it to be PC horseshit spoon fed to them by MTV or Jon Stewart

Its beyond we become the old generations, we were young and dumb also and they will get there etc. The crutch of a young generation is the loss of human contact..of being alone and literally everyday is dictated and motivated by production. Social media production and over sharing. Shallow and out of touch with real human substance. The headline on that alone "instagram STAR"

The started with the grunge crap in the late 80's early 90's all through that Nirvana time in the suicides started picking up and it became sort of chic decor cool to have scars on the inside of your wrists to show how many times you tried to commit suicide. Then a psychoactive medication started going wild in the Prozac by the 90s half of all the young kids were already taking some of this psychoactive crap. At this point in time the whole young seen Jay Z and Kanye West all these clowns the words to the songs the style of dressing the emptiness of their speech the shallow and materialistic positions they take on life and human interaction. The list goes on and on. It is not looking very good for Humanity at this point. Can you picture one of these shallow materialistic vile rats who are 18 or 20 years old today being parents and what the next generation will look like say in 2033. It is beyond frightening it is beyond ghastly.
