Me too. I understand Dennison's position. I'd in fact feel quite similar if I were in his shoes. But one thing that I hope I would be different in is that when others outside of my race try to reach out to me to assist me or to at least understand me and they do it with sincerity I do not think that I would simply shoot them back down and say that they were only trying to appease him or that they were only trying to patronize him. That is what I don't like about Denilson and people who subscribe to his version of rigid inflexible and unwilling to cooperate kind of perspective on this issue. Because if they are not willing to meet people halfway to at least try to begin to build a bridge then why should we go and try to meet them three quarters of the way or even all the way. ? They are trying to place upon us and boy I hate generalizing "us" because we are not all anglo-saxons who are the the ancestors of the slave owners but they are trying to put upon us the collective guilt of everything that the most evil anglo-saxon slave owners and murderers did over the past four hundred years and that is simply not fair not to mention completely unrealistic . It is some kind of sick and archaic method similar to the Old Testament in the Bible of cursing The Descendants for three or four hundred years out into the future for the crimes that their great great grandparents committed . It is absolutely preposterous. They are basically either advocating complete segregation for complete surrender and both of those are ridiculous ideas which can send you in a way a kind of impending great showdown or battle and I prefer to solve things peacefully and not with this war like language and threats periods No those people will say when I say those people I mean those inflexible kind of unwilling to cooperate people they will say that they are constantly under threat so why should they not turn around and threaten who they perceive to be the great enemy. Well I guess I understand that too and I might feel the same way if I were in their shoes as well. But it really would be good if there was a way just sort of try to work on things together. Since he is precluding any of that due to his complete lack of trust then the other party there is really no end game or solution except what I mentioned earlier. And that is what I view as the severe limitation , the turn off in trying to deal with people who take such an extreme and rigid view.
