    ~ The Skinny ~

Danny Lopez will be making the 4th Defense of his Title that he won back on November 6, 1976.

Juan Domingo 'Mingo' Malvarez of Argentina is Managed by Carlos 'Tito' Lecture. All week prior
to the Championship Bout, 'Tito' Lecture has been stating this fighter has the right style to
defeat the Champion - 'Little Red' Lopez.

Malvarez is very fast, and has both a lightning-quick and powerful left-hook. He also has a very
good right-hand cross. The Argentinian has gone 'unbeaten' {26-0-3} over the past 34-Months.

    ~ The Bout ~

The Challenger took no caution, and went right after the Champion - Danny Lopez in the Opening
    Round.

Both fighters met at Center-Ring. The Challenger sent in a left-jab as he moved to his left at the
{0:03 Mark}. Then Malvarez darted to his right at the {0:05 Mark}.

Malvarez fired in a quick double left-hook at the {0:08 Mark} as the Champion moved forward.

Malvarez then moved to his left, and fired in a straight right-and lead at the {0:10 Mark}. Danny
    continued to press forward.

Malvarez lands with a left-jab to Danny's face a the {0:14 Mark}. Danny is still moving forward.

Danny 'misses' with a right-hand lead at the {0:18 Mark} as the Challenger ducks low along the
    front Ring area.

Malvarez tries with a fast '4-Punch' combination, but misses with all his punches as the Champion
steps back at the {0:20 Mark}.

Malvarez moves over to the right-side Ring area at the {0:22 Mark}.

At the {0:23 Mark} Malvarez scores with a solid left-jab to the face, and Danny backs out a step.

    The Challenger then leaps in, and fires in a jolting 'left-hook and right-hand' to the jaw at the {0:26 Mark}
    as Danny backs up.

Danny steps in and fires out a 'left-right' at the {0:30 Mark}, but the punches are high.

Malvarez counters quickly, and lands with a jarring 'right-hand' to the chin, and comes back with a
'jolting' left-right to the jaw at the {0:32 Mark}.

The Champion 'goes down' at the {0:33 Mark}.

Danny is up at the '2-Count' and backs up to the back-right Corner area as Referee - Marcello Bertini
