Cheers tam , Parker looks like he is a strong fighter with some power.
He is strong I thought he looked good a couple of years ago BUT Meehan was wiped out by Danny Williams in about 30 seconds. Parker was landing everything on him. Meehan did look like an old man lost. Isnt he close to 50 now?
Parker is good, very good but even when hes putting everything on his punches he doesnt seem to have much snap. Thats only a minor criticism. Meehan wasnt a step up from what hes been facing. It seems like they want to exhaust all opponents living in New Zealand first.
He's 36 he was on a bit of an average run and thought he would school the young kiwi...obviously not. He's 23 there's no point rushing him at all, there's so much work that can be done with him. He probably wanted to get him out of there because he was giving him abuse. I think there's a lot more to come from Parker, I think he can do well in this division
Meehan wishes he was 36. I remember a hundred years ago when Danny Williams smashed him in seconds too.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
My mistake he's 45 Hahahaha

Ross check out the similar threads, in particular the one you started last year. You've turned on Parker?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Not at all.
I like him but I can see hes not a big power puncher. He will wear people down but Meehan should have been dealt with earlier, he did look lost and for all the shit you lot give Fury about his lack of power im pretty sure Tyson would have done Meehan earlier if not in the first.
I think part of his problemis hes trying to finish them and needs to relax.
Tyson and Peter Fury have invited Parker to spar and hopefully they take up on the offer as Parker has a similar style to Wlad.
I think Meehan could have 'fallen over' a bit earlier in the fight, like some of these guys do against the youngbloods of the division - but he was well and truly decked in the third.
