The old Cleverley would've won, but he's gone a long way down since then. I reckon he's mentally weak now unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong.

Although Cleverly was a decent champion, he really got derailed against Kovalev, and the way that Sergey has progressed has really told us a lot about what Cleverly was up against at the time.
The problem is that he's gone straight back in to a world title fight with just the one knockout of a nobody since his SD defeat to Bellew. Fonfara is good, but not great, and I think Clev has a shot, but my head says Fonfara will probably get the win.
Koki Kameda also on the bill, hope he can pick up a win in his fight too.

4 cards tonightKono-Kameda starting off here. Nice feel to this one. Lean towards Fonfara

This is the craziest shit I can rememberTHAT was insane self proclamation and shady shit. Only reason this fight should be stopped is to fire the ref on spot!!

Most amount of punches thrown and landed in a 175 fight of all time.

Respect to both boxers for a terrific fight.![]()

Boxer Nathan Cleverly has no plans to retire despite a third career loss, and wants a rematch with Andrzej Fonfara.
Welshman Cleverly broke his nose in a gruelling light-heavyweight points defeat by Fonfara in Chicago.
The 28-year-old, who lost for the third time in his past six bouts, said: "Respect to Fonfara, would love to do it again.
"It was a fantastic fight - I had a feeling that our styles were going to gel and that's what happened."
The bout, a possible step towards meeting WBA champion Jurgen Brahmer, broke records for most punches landed (936) and thrown (2,524) in a light-heavyweight fight since counting began.
Cleverly said: "It was a war from the very first bell and I am not surprised that it broke the records because when we started, we just didn't stop."
The former WBO champion said he had no argument with the outcome as Polish fighter Fonfara was given the decision 116-112, 116-112 and 115-113 in his adopted hometown.
"It has been a great experience over here in the US - it's a pretty hostile crowd but they all congratulated me after the fight," Cleverly added.
"Would I do it again? Why not - it's what we are here to do, put on entertaining fights for great fans, and I am sure there will be the demand for it."
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Had Kameda 4th but he is in a deep hole. This ref needs a girlfriend, much bias.
I haven't seen the fight , but from the comments on here, I couldn't be more wrong. "Mentally weak?" I owe the guy a massive apology.
I'm happy to be wrong on this occasion, and as long as he can get that frame of his down to 175 and wants to fight, why not?
Even though he lost, I'm really pleased for him.
That is a hell of a lot of punches thrown for light heavies. Can't wait to see the fight now.
