I am sure when MTV came out the oldies said it was ridiculous and would never last.

Of course, they said the same about ESPN "All sports, all the time....won't it get boring?"

My point Master is that in it's birth MTV was about allowing young people to express themselves, to see and hear the musicians of the era and there was no political correctness tied in with that, there was no political message at all, it was inclusive, it was for everyone! Now MTV is for people who want to turn victim status into celebrity status. In that sense I guess it is the voice of all those angsty teens who think they always get a raw deal....Master, you've got children, ever had one give you the "That's not fair!" argument? Surely you have. Well MTV has become a giant "THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!!" channel and I'm sorry to reasonable rational emotionally stable folks like myself it's annoying and I see it as doing a great disservice to the youth of this nation (albeit I don't know who actually watches MTV anymore)....life isn't fair....that's what my parents always told me, "life isn't fair, sometimes you just have to play the hand you're dealt"...whining isn't an option and even if it was it wouldn't change anything.
