Besides the obvious fighters, he should of faught Sven Ottke when he had the chance. But that fight didn't happen cuz Calzaghe wouldn't fight in Germany and he didn't want Ottke to get the larger purse. Ignoring the fact that Ottke's lameass IBF and WBA titles actually meant more than Calzaghe's crappy a** WBO title. He always said Ottke was nothing to be scared of. So why not go into Germany and fight the champion who only scored 6 knock outs in his career? Let me guess it was all Ottke's fault that fight didn't happen. Just like it's Bernard Hopkins fault, Roy Jones fault, Kessler fault, Glen Johnson's fault, Antonio Tarver's fault, Winky Wright's fault that there fight's with Calzaghe don't happen. It's always somebody else's fault, but never Joe's.
I agree with you El gamo, Calzaghe wins in my book.

Violent Demise. How many of Ottke's fights have you seen when he has been defending in Germany ? I'll tell what i know, and that is he get's the decision, he owns the ref, the is no way he loses when fighting at home. I ask you this Q Why did he never leave Germany to fight ?

A. He would have lost.

Unfortunately I seen a couple of Ottke fights. I never once said he was great. He was far from it. And he got the close win all the time. Some unjust. By I'll give Ottke this, he fought often. And his resume while not great, is better than Calzaghe. As for Ottke not fighting outside of Germany, why does that matter? Calzaghe don't fight anywhere but his own turf, either.
