A good fighter in his pomp. I remember him beating Williams and Francis very convincingly, when both still had something to give.
I am also pretty sure he upset Audley in the amateurs on the way to winning the world championship, when Buncey was giving Harrison the big build up.
Forty One is no age. Exactly a month older than me, if that picture is genuine (and I have no reason to doubt it), he looked terrible.
Such a shame...
