I doubt he sits as long as Leonard but I believe he wants a middleweight trinket. I think Leonard is a thorn in his side. He is aware that many hold that controversial defeat of Hagler as the dividing line between he and Leonard even with Duran,Hearns and Benitez as backup. Now if he plans to wait out the Kazak to show signs of deterioration he wont be coming back but I have a feeling that he still controls the purse strings so look for him to slide his way into fighting the winner of Cotto/Alvarez. He's owned and cherished a Wbc title for 16 or 17 years and for the last 10 of those 16 he's paid at least 500 thousand a fight in sanctioning fees. His last 3 to 5 over 1 million in fees. The Wbc has no moral compass. That fact has unfolded in front of all of us since the moment they fragmented from the Wba. In addition Golovkin would most likely get 2 million or more to once again step aside. Not sure what they will come up with but I'm sure there will be something. Of course the same people that have no problems with Alvarez/Cotto will then have a major problem with Floyd. Just dont announce a catchweight when there is no reason to. I'm thinking next year but he could stretch it to 2017. He will retire after capturing the linear, ring, bling middleweight title
