Generally speaking , Liston was before my time . I know he was intimidating and scared the shit out of Patterson, but I haven't seen much of him in the flesh.
Foreman was intimidating, purely because of his size and what he did to Frazier, but Ali "un-intimidated" him, destroyed the myth.
You could argue Douglas did the same to Tyson, but up till then, well....

There is one clear answer here.
Who has had any more fighters pull out or delay against them than Tyson Fury?
You may look at him and see what you think you see but actual pro boxers look at him and see a very difficult opponent to beat and a threat to their career.

Pulev and Price are yesterdays men and would have had there heads boxed off with ease. Pulev is lucky Tyson got his head turned by the promise of giving Haye a beating as otherwise he wouldnt have got his little Klitschko payday. Now hes losing rounds to Hughie Furys last opponent who Hughie won every round against and hurt
Price and his team never wanted the fight and lied they were contractd to Sky to avoid Tyson battering him too.
That also doesnt change the fact that no other heavyweight out there has had as many fighters pull out against him as Tyson. Thats as good an indication of intimidation as anything.
Hugie Fury. He won every round against a guy that won a few rounds against a guy who won one round against a guy who once intimidated a telephone booth. We can all speculate or look to more readily available options, but lets remember there is only one guy around here who knows all about being intimidating and how real fighters think.
I agree could be Ortiz though, and should be if he manages to blow Jennings out of there, which is a big ask.
"Yesterday's Men" - yes, but it was "Yesterday" when he ducked them. Fact!
If you think Tyson Fury is intimidating, that's fine, its all about opinions . But in case you weren't sure of the meaning , I thought I would help you out. to Intimidate is someone more likely to make you want to shit your pants, not come in your pants!!!!!!!![]()

Ross, you could be right about Fury being a monster and destroying Wald, but we are talking about looking intimidating here.
Are you trying to tell us a fighter who comes to a boxing presser dressed in a Batman costume is intimidating? Are you saying a fighter who gives himself uppercuts is intimidating?
Are you saying a huge heavyweight fighter who was knocked on his fanny by a jumped up cruiserweight is intimidating?
You might think so but most of us don't. Fact, as Fenster says.
What the hell kind of FU*KERY are you trying to pull on us?![]()

Problem is you will never find out the reality as you will never be a professional heavyweight fighter let alone a world class professional heavyweight fighter.
Would you say the same thing to Tysons face? Would you get in the ring with him? No you wouldnt. Its safe for you to think hes not intimidating to a computer screen.
I bet your the kind of person who thinks Haye is intimidating because he looks in better shape?

The one thing I know, for sure, is that you are a heavyweight bullshitter.
Please, stop crying, sir. I did say you might be right about Fury, so come on, dry your eyes, blow your nose, and let's think about tomorrow. If you have trouble getting to sleep, you can count Tyson Furys, dressed as Batman skipping rope around your bed!

Remember when Golota was going and he either showed skill and strong boxed your mustache, or froze and ran back to the Hotel room, or billy goat head butted and tried to bite a guys tit off before the ref noticed
That's intimidation![]()
