When fighters get up from a knockdown and look down at their bellies/pull up their trunks/adjust their trunks during the few seconds before the action continues.....I always felt they were trying to look more interested in their shorts to try to look nonchalant or disinterested so that their opponent didn't realize how hurt they still were

Bruno crossed himself 1000 times before he got in the ring with Tyson the 2nd time. I think he was slightly scared.

Quartey did the hand flick thing, Leo Santa Cruz does that today constantly. Both hands just turning when he looks to get off, kinda odd. Chavez did it sometimes inside digging hooks. Still don't know what was with Allen Green after the Pantera fight..constantly looking at his feet.

What did you want Tyson to do? Go into Bruno's dressing room before they fought and tell him not to worry too much that he would not get hurt that much?

When a fighter says yeah I'll fight Golovkin. It generally means fighting Golovkin is the last thing they want to be doing.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Also when a fighter pulls up his trunks he may be trying to move up the low blow line in the ref's mind.
He may be weary of the body shots he's getting hit with.

When a fighter puts his hands down and calls his opponent onto him. He's been hurt big time.
Also , when a fighter shakes his head after he's been hit, not only did it hurt, but he's annoyed he got tagged.
