IMO this rivalry didn't have foreigners betraying their homeland to join like whites and blacks here in America and even in France,
I think we have a tendency to look at the middle east conflicts because 1.Arabs watching the United nations displace Palestinians ... are vengeful as a result
2. the resources underneath their feet from Iraq ,, gas, oil to Afghanistan's opium to lithium valued at least a trillion $
My point:
if they didn't have such vast resources would we catalog their quarrels? As far back in time black in Africa had conflict. the yellow man (asian) European wars to the red man whose tribes were warring before whites came in the u.s. had tribal conflicts, y Mayans, Aztecs pulling beating hearts from the chests of their enemies...so Arab don't stand out as being the only people that war against each other for thousands of years.

Our influence is why we are in this mess. We sleep with the Saudis and park jets on Saudi soil to bomb bronze age countries back to the stone age. Now Irans involved and ICIS blows up a bomb in Beriut because they hate Hezbollah who are backed by the Iranians. This is insane. Just get out and lets contractors, bag men, kill each other. Pull all western forces out and let the chips fall where they may. Why should those innocents in our countries suffer for hatchet job foreign policy? Nothing has changed in 4000 years with these people. Its not even about defeat or winning and losing. We cant win period and that should be obvious by now. How about we quit bombing their innocent people. Whats the distinction between our brand of terrorism and theirs? Since they keep telling us to get out of the Arab world maybe we should try it?
