Oh yeah, Rousey fought a stupid fight and Holm made her pay in every way. I'm not as upset about her losing as I am about her trying to box a boxer. Foolish! Rousey was absolutely gassed after the first round. Poor marks all the way around! IMO, of course.

She's clearly way outmatched on the feet and wouldn't matter what she did there she wasn't winning that aspect, when she tried going for her hip toss she got picked up and put on her back...only been watching it since the days of Pride Fc, so yeah that was the first mma fight I've ever seen

Rousey couldn't handle the boxing skill of Holm and was nailed very early on....now what does that tell you? The final kick to the head was just the finishing manouvre after Rousey was belted around like a punching bag!

Not a bad thing. Had Rousey chasing. Rhonda knows nothing about cutting her opponent off, no idea of head movement.

That Holm chick didn't just run, she had great movement, rhythm to her footwork.

Why does everyone, even certified MMA fans make out that the UFC is the whole of MMA?

Its only an organisation in MMA. UFC fighters get to avoid fighters in other organisations, just because they are the best in that weight in one organisation does not make them the best in the whole of that sport.

Put it this way. Joe Calzaghe was only the WBO champion for 10 or 11 years. He was a great fighter but people will argue because he didnt face the other champs that were available he cant be regarded as the best.

Holm did a great job of using movement. If she's not in range she can't try and head grab or throw. When she was in range she was getting hit.
Partly her own fault for buying in to the hype and being shoved on the cover of ring. Massively dissrespectful to boxers imo.
