No offense, but are you a Mexican? At school, most of the fatter Mexicans have faster hand speed than the skinnier ones, don't know why.

Anyway, it'd be a good idea to join a boxing gym, because unless you've had a friend to spar with, your defense will suck, and you will not be used to getting hit.
