Theres a decent amount of hype for this fight in the UK. Wladimir is unquestionably one of the greats, a bit like Larry Holmes really ..... under appreciated at the time, poor competition, metronomic number of defences etc. If Fury wins, it will be one of the larger upsets in boxing history.

In the normal course of events, Fury wouldn't get a title shot for a few years as he is still raw, but Wlad (just like Joe Louis) has cleaned out the division so he is now defending against second tier opposition.

If Fury wasn't 6'9", this would be seen as a Bum of the Month defence. Tysons technique is flawed, he isn't a big puncher and he never looks that fit to me. It's his size that is the interesting bit. Wlad has been criticised for being a flat track bully who just uses his physical size well to spoil his way through fights. If he beats Fury I think he can claim that has been put to bed.

Wlad is an Olympic champ, great record, great resume so I really can't see how Fury is going to out point him, especially in Germany. He has to stop Klitschko to win, and it is his size plus Wlads chinny reputation that is selling the tickets to this fight.

One thing you can't criticise Fury For is his heart, he is a fighter to the core. If he wins this, against all the odds, it will be on of the greatest wins by a Brit in history.

Unfortunately, I can't see it happening, I hope h surprises me and we get a good fight rather than the usual Wlad procession, but I see a stoppage around the 7th, with a helpless Tyson having been patiently broken up until he is helpless on the ropes.
