you couldn't fight a 19 year old could you? 18 and a half and over is Senior so you would be a junior fighting a senior, which wouldn't happen.
When your a senior there is no age limit (its up to 37 but the age difference can be anything) in teh Juniors your not aloud something like over a years difference.

well i think they count tht sort of ages as inbetween senior and juinor like i think its to stop anyone who has just turned senior gettin belted in by some whos been a senior for yrs
Thats just up to the clubs when they make the matches.
Your coach will base it off how many fights they've had and won. their age and weight/height (if he knows the height)
ie. Your coach probably wouldn't let you fight some one with a decent rcord compared to yours if they where much older than you and your weight, if they were lighter he might. etc.

The more you get hit hard the easier it is for you to get knocked out. Don't put your self in that situation at your age. Box with people your own age and weight and do light to mid sparring. Only bang when you have a fight. In a fight you will only be matched with people who are similar to your weight, age, and experience. Once you get the right sparring you can work on your timing. One tip I can give you right now is to follow your opponents head with your jab to gauge his distance. Stay out of punching range until your ready to punch. When you get in range do so punching and slipping. Do not stand straight or your partner can hit you back while your throwing. Remember get safe sparring.
thanks for the info

also try changing your target from head to body and back again as this is harder for them to block so easier for u to land it may also tire them out
