That makes no sense, but being British or American, how could you know any other way? I reject all of that and I know what is right. I will never defend a power control system for the sake of it.
....and also that happened a lot in history too, the "interracial relationships" between white devils and Indians.
But yes my wife is Indian, no it doesn't "repeal" history.....but it also doesn't mean your version of history is correct.
Were there atrocities in those times? Yes, and they were on BOTH SIDES! Sorry to break that to you. If the Aztecs could have defeated the Conquistadores and kept the land to themselves they certainly would have done so, and they certainly would have kept raping and pillaging the other smaller tribes around.
You're defending the Aztecs.....they were a power control system.....soooo yeah, you kinda would and are doing that.
Winner Lyle![]()
Loser miles![]()
I do not lose. If you want to lose then say something.
It might explain him being better informed than you though. I know you think that is an unthinkable concept, and that you are the most well read man on earth, but maybe, just maybe, you could leave the lecturing in the classroom for once and try learning something from somebody else.
Biased history books are a thing of the past, with the wealth of information now available to everyone. Still.... the same books, articles, essays, etc that are read by someone who's American are available to someone who isn't. Hence, my tongue-in-cheek comment awhile back.
Miles' claim of genocide over the Indians may be a bit overdramatic, but Lyle's only too quick to counteract the argument with his own claims. Neither of them were there, so as usual with these history arguments, it depends on which side you want to win.
