Donovan Boucher was a Canadian boxer who I liked too, he came over here and beat Kirkland Lang but he lost to Glenwood Brown.

Boucher had the 'sign' over our boys in the early 90s, as mentioned a quality operator. I got to see him (just, in the nosebleed seats) live when I went to Benn/EubankII. He was part of the main support challenging for Espana's alphabet title.

Another name that comes to mind in this era was Tony Collins.

His big brother went something like 35/0 before losing to Gary Jacobs and Laing, but Tony looked the better quality of the two.

Tony probably turned pro too early, and was only allowed to fight four rounders for a couple of years, and then was just thrown into twelve rounders with some tough foreign opposition. His two wars with Ricardo Nunez are well worth a viewing for those who have not seen him.

Sadly for Collins his career was done before his 23rd Birthday, he had been matched too tough, too soon, and the ring battles caught up with him.
