    Defense is everything.

Floyd could never end up like that.

Love Roy to bits but floyd is the complete package.

I said that this was a bad mismatch when it was announced. Benn would make more sense.

You been drinking man?! Enzo hasn't been world class for years ... He hasn't competed against world class either.?. Brahmer isn't up there... And I love the man!

I agree Enzo wasn't quite world class, but Fensters point is that he isn't a physical wreck, he's still got all his faculties and is/was a capable offensive fighter tonight. I'll admit I gave Roy a shot because Enzo has just been sparked so badly, but that came against big men who could punch. Roy has no real punch left at 200 pounds, in hindsight this was a terrible fight.

Fair enough that Roy had the Don Quixote thing going on, but I think that is enough knock out stoppages now. It cannot be good for you getting concussed as often as he has in the past 10 years.

That was absolutely brutal! Physically these two looked 25 yrs apart. Honestly though I'm glad it ended that way. Roy was walking on the tracks and needed to be anywhere BUT a ring last few years. He did well to trump up a decent 'big' event out of it but the end needed to be conclusive and final and thankfully not to some .500 never was fighter but at least a full on respected professional who has been to the top also. Top class by both afterwards.

Yes, it was a horrible shot that started it. As soon as it landed I said to myself 'He's gone', but Jones bravely got up, did a little jesting. However, he was probably on autopilot at that stage and then the next barrage really put his lights out. As Roy laid there unconscious with his legs wavering I wondered how someone so articulate and knowledgeable as Roy Jones Jr. could let it taper out to this. It was a sad sight and I felt a bit wrong that I was even watching. I see James Toney is back next month. As big a fan as I am, enough is enough with these guys. They need protecting from themselves as they are running on memory and heart alone at this stage.

I've sort of advocated RJJ continuing to box up till now, because I felt he was doing it more for the love and not the money, although that might not be the case.
But that finish was pretty sickening to watch and I think he needs to be saved from himself. Very sad to see.

I watched the fight earlier, that wasnt just a KO that was pretty fucking sickening, wasn't nice to watch.
I thought Enzo handled it really well, no celebrating he just went to his corner and watched with a concerned look on his face, I thought that was a nice touch from him.

I never stop drinking. Roy is an old man that has been beating "club fighters" (for want of a better term). Enzo, regardless of his current status, is a 35-year-old former "world" champion. His trainer was Gary Lockett, one of the brightest young trainers in the UK, all his fighters show a serious engine, they weren't turning up to lose.

It was taking the utter piss to think a little old boy - compared with Enzo - could beat him (regardless of how great Roy once was).

Everyone, besides Tarver and Toney, admired Roy Jones Jnr because he was the best of our generation at the least.

In my eyes Roy is one of the ATG.
