Everyone, besides Tarver and Toney, admired Roy Jones Jnr because he was the best of our generation at the least.
In my eyes Roy is one of the ATG.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
There are no "good" opponents for Roy at this stage. He is fighting himself and he can't win again.
I think he is genuinely in love with boxing and is trying to pick up "all the pennies" like the greats used to except he's getting hurt badly, not going the distance in a safe manner like Sugar Ray Robinson used to when he was far beyond his prime.
He has no conditioning at all and is unable to absorb punishment physically and the mental capabilties are lieing to him.
I hope someone who cares about him talks the truth and he listens, its beyond his time to stop.
Very sad to witness such a terrific competitor trying to recapture the past. Please stop Roy.
Ray
Jones must be embarrassed after this. He was sparked in an ugly way. He had been boxing him well, outjabbing him and landing the occasional straight right and uppercut too. I thought he was getting his rhythm when that happened. weird. Not really though.
When the guy delivering the knockout immediately runs back to his corner, kneels down and makes the sign of the cross you know it's a seriously bad knockout. Fuck that was brutal. That was the second really bad sparking Roy has had in Russia. Hopefully he doesn't get back in the ring again.
