I don't really see much difference between Bush and these 2,they all come out with ridiculous remarks but I believe that it's a good alliance,I believe that there needs to be a counterweight to America,it has too much influence in too many places. Hosni Mubarak's~(Egyptina PM's) son nailed when he said that countries(well he was talking about the Mid EAST i GUESs)need to develop their own ideals and deal with their own problems rather than having other people's ideals imposed upon them(ir America brandishing the sword of democracy!)

And Bush failed to accomplish very much, the country is sliding into anarchy and civil war....Invading a country illegally was not the means for reforming Iraq. Removing Sadaam was the only good thing to result from this invasion and that wasnt even the reason given for war. One big charade!!

Ideology is what differentiates most regimes, but politicians are pretty much the same. Bush and Chavez are both clowns and the intelligence of neither runs very deep. They are really very similar.
    Well said,CC.

Thanks El Gamo, CC returned as always...

The US does have too much power and too much power in the hands of a dumbass like Bush is dangerous. It does need to be checked against. Checks and balances, as in any democracy, are needed in the world itself to counter any abuse of power by one who has too much power....

No Lyle, I had this argument with some one before, The West doesn't have fields of Oil to generate Huge amounts of money and boost the Country's economy... it isn't saturated with poverty whilst oil barons have gold plated toilet seats...

But Greed only exists in the 'hippocratic' West (how Ironically hypocritically Ironic... ) and not the middle east...

There are renewable energy supplies! The West is just lazy...if governerments would just invest what they should then the options are open and there....

I know, I am talking about the distribution of wealth among the people, fair enough Democracy isn't perfect but compared to the system (well...) over there...

I wouldn't call it Lazy, too many people own the money for them all to pull together in one direction.

Renewable energy is slowly being expanded here in Britian, just don't expect it on any type of large scale until the oil is hard to get... even then we'd probably just get more nuclear plants...

Through out Chaves' whole speech, the crowd giggled at him. No one took him seriously, and neither should we.

I was born in Mexico . and now I live in Texas, I love this country and what it does for its people and for other people from other countries like myself. I think the dictators of Iran , N Korea , Venezuela , and others, suppress their people with an Iron fist. They are true demons of the human spirit.

I say "WE" the U.S. should do whatever it takes to dismantle the evil empires of the world and free the peoples .. The people have the right for their choice and free speech.. Its easy to criticize when you have the right to do so “ El Gamo and others“, but when your living in a country that would kill you for speaking your mind, you would think otherwise ! Iran’s Ahaminijad is the most dangerous man on the plant right now. He is Calling for the Destruction of Israel and says that is his goal. I think its time to start a tap dancing on his country ass right now ! As for Venezuelan President who shamed himself and his people for saying such a disrespectful remark on U.S. Soil . Fuck Him too. I am all for kickin ass and taking names ! The U.S. is the best country in the world, that why everyone comes here to escape the enslavement and tyrants of their countries,, . Here in the U.S. a person can make whatever they want of their life,
At least we are given the opportunity to do so.

So to answer you question Lyle Re: What do you think of the Venezuelan President and Ahminijad? on them !

America probably killed more Iraqis than Saddam himself with their bombings, the resistance which has been enflamed by US occuaption and civil war and their sanctions. As for Iran, well yes,the situation there is not ideal but America has no right to go around doing whatever they want to whomever they want, look at their track record so far: Afghanistan-STILL have not won, losing fighters daily, only Kabul is even remotely safe and more rsistance than there was before. Iraq is identical except there is a civil war too and the resisitance is much much fiercer, but what has America achieved? Nothing...they have flamed the fans of hatred even more andI suggest that they solve their own problems before starting more.

I don't like this gung ho attitude, indiscriminate bombing etc. And you have never been there so you can't really say how surpressed or oppresed the people are...you are going by what the media and Bush tells you.

As for the most dangerous country,I'd think Israel would be higher than Iran seeing as it has launched war after war, attacked an entire country over 2 soldiers and has nuclear weapons which America is aware of amonsgt million of other things(such as how many billions of you,the American citizens money goes into Israel's defence budget!)

As for America being the best country,I highly doubt it. I'm not saying anything about the people(except the ones which vote for Bush) but to have such an unintelligent, moronic, idiotic leader,to have a fooking movie star who was given only a handful of lines in his main films because he was too dumb and could not even act well to have more lines running a state which has something like the fourth biggest economy in the world,if this is the greatest country in the world..........

And where are all these mass droves that come to America?

America is just as evil as these fooking other governments it seeks to opress and why doesn't the US government topple the Pakistani government which is a fooking dictatorship or the Chinese government which has(or used to,maybe not on the same scale) babies killed in families where they had too many children? America carries out bombings,America started off Bin Laden,America has the blood of millions of innocent civilians AAAND has been the only nation to use the atomic bomb! These are all facts,I;ll show you stats or evidence of ANYTHING you ask.

Most of these countries are evil,I'll lead my own fooking revolution,a new country!!

I lived in Mexico till i was 7 years old, my family lived in the ground, We had fucking dirt floors and when it rained we were fucked !, my dad could not make any money for us , we had no work , we left for the U.S. I am now a citizen , I love this country. I have been through hell in my life, I am now 34 about to be 35 years old , I now have a home with a swimming pool , Hell I drive a Porshe , I am living the life i never though possible. America is a dream, this is all i can tell you from my heart . Is it perfect? maybe not, buts it better then where i came from , this I can tell you ! I made mistakes when i was younger , but i finally got my act together and could never be happier. opportunities are endless in this country ! even when you fuck things up you get another shot ! I think for people to have the opportunities that I have had, its worth fighting for, freedom don't come easy, it never has.

Dude everything is state run in those countries you defend. you would have no rights, you watch what they say you can watch , you do what they say to do. women have no right and are treated like shit. and you would be stoned to death for speaking your mind in Afghanistan with Taliban rule..

To me Its like the little punk who keeps hitting you in the back of the head with a stone. you politely say stop it, but they don't , then when you have had enough, and get motivated they want to cry foul.. I say fuck that.

Its a baby sitting job. those countries Iran Iraq N Korea are like small children playing with matches. an accident waiting to happen. and we the U.S and Britain are the ones that have to go baby sit on our dime, while everyone else reaps the benefits and bitches, its bullshit ! So I say on the lot of em ! o yeah Cool Click in 24 enjoyed the chat

One of the things that makes America great (which is usually banned in other countries) is the fact you can say and think and feel however you want and you're ok, you don't get sent to Siberia or a gulag or a Chinese prison.

Now there is exception when you think or plan doing things against the law or to hurt others...but that's very seldom where charges are brought up on that. Louis Farrakahn is still around he wants to destroy America he hasn't been arrested for it.

But that's what makes this nation great, the guys that burn the flag I love have the right to do it, just as I have the right to stand against that.

But a line MUST be drawn in politics, these guys are sent by their countries to make a better world and Chavez and Ahmadinijad come to stir up trouble and call our President names and so on, this is showing a lack of couth and respect and it makes it less plausable that everyone will get along and change for the better
