Yes, poor GGG. Pitiful resume, I mean he's closing in on 34 and his best win is over a guy who lost to a guy in the middle of a stretch of 8 fights with only that one win. That man himself only had 1 decent win. Everyone says he's one of if not the best fighter in spite of his lack of 1 win over a top 50p4p fighter but he's a victim. They throw every excuse in the world not to fight Ward but Ward is the one bad mouthed. They claim they will fight anyone from 154-175 then change it when 175lb fighters say okay. So then it's anyone from 154-168. Then he is big enough for 168 vs Steiglitz but not for Ward, then big enough for Chavez, then not for Ward, then big enough for Froch, oh, turned out they lied to the public on that too. So I guess it's anyone from 154-160, oh wait they won't go below 160 for anyone but Floyd. Just what is their story this week? I can't keep track, these "victims" change their story so damn much who could?

Something that's been talked about to death, but....... why should a 160-pound fighter be forced to go up to fight Andre Ward at 168?? I'm not gonna defend GGG's list of opponents, other than to say he's never ducked anybody that I know of. Andre Ward doesn't count, 'cause you can't truly "duck" anyone who is a weight class or more above you. Besides..... I'm not a Ward fan in the slightest. Not a fan of any fighter who fights once every solar eclipse and still has fans saying he's p4p. P4P what? If every fighter had his level of activity we'd all be MMA fans by now.

All I know about GGG and Ward is this: GGG fights A HELL of a lot more often than Ward. GGG looks like he enjoys fighting and duking it out with his opponent. His style is fan-friendly. He is respectful and engaging outside the ring. Ward calls himself SOG, and fights every half-decade or so. His style can be as exciting as grass growing.

A tale of three fighters: Canelo, GGG, Ward.

Canelo CAN, and IS ducking GGG. Canelo is a MW, squeezing into a 155-pound catchweight. He routinely walks around at well over 170 pounds, and has made a career of fighting undersized opponents, just like JCC Jr. was/is doing. So we have all the right in the world to call him out and expect him to face GGG at 160, 'cause that's Canelo's REAL WEIGHT. Meanwhile, as far as I know GGG has never ventured above 160, and is steadfast there. If Ward really wants to meet GGG in the ring, have him come down to 160. If he can't..... no issue. Fighters shouldn't be forced to go up or down in weight. They do it 'cause they want the payday, and they think they can.

Apparently facts only matter in the real world but not the virtual one. I'm convinced that some of Golovkins detractors would also be gravity detractors. It makes no difference to them that they'd be photographs on the cement w/o it.

He's slandered because he's got no elites on his resume.
Its ignored that other worshiped past middleweights didn't either.
Those middleweights deemed elite or the top of the food chain don't want to fight him.
Its ignored that those kinds of middleweights didn't even exist when Hagler and Hop were around.
Hagler, Hopkins and Monzon made there legacy's on the backs of name rec x-welters
Its ignored that these same welters today wont even fight each other.
People act as if there is nothing wrong with these things.
Its ignored that nobody has been frozen out this bad since Charlie Burley.

Never mind the facts though. Jusrt carry on backing this F#%ING charade.

I know you all don't like anything bad said about GGG. I'm just really frustrated with the sport right now and it makes me unfair to him because he was the guy I was planning to hang my hopes on and it's been years and he's done nothing. Sure he'll get the record for title defenses but it doesn't mean shit to me without good fights.

It's no different than what anyone else is doing. Loma looked like he would fight anyone any time but he found a way away from Rigo and his reason for not fighting Walters was laughable in its hypocrisy when you saw who he actually chose. Kovalev looks a killer but what is he doing, rematching uncompetitive fights, why? I hate Frochs personality but I'm desperate for his return to see someone that wants good opponents because I don't see it anywhere else.

GGG has 3 years tops he can not keep going on at this rate but appreciate him now.

If people want to say something bad about GGG fine, but make it the truth! For instance, "He hasn't fought anybody great". Yes , that's fine , but it's also not his fault there isn't anybody great to fight.
"He's avoided Ward,Froch, etc.etc." Total Bollocks! He's never avoided anyone in his life. I would ignore what Froch has to say, because he's full of crap. And don't hold your breath waiting for Froch to come back, because he knows GGG would Knock his ass out!
