I think there was a strong argument to say he was from De La HoyaI to ForrestI; particularly as Jones Jr was going through an uninspiring run. But I understand these things are not going to be definitively answered.
I don't see a difference between Antonio Diaz, Shannan Taylor and Adrian Stone vs Eric Harding, Derrick Harmon and Julio Cesar Gonzalez. Then considering the large talent gap between Roy and Shane I give the nod to Roy. But to each their own, The Ring Magazine had Shane #1 so your opinion has supporters.
Mosley was fighting in a more expansive style, and was concentrating on boxing rather than also trying to do Basketball. Hindsight clearly puts a bit of daylight between RJJ's and Sugar Shane's careers, but at the time I had Mosley as #1, and I was not alone.
