Scrap is that part of his defense is switching from orthodox to southpaw? Hagler used to switch up when coming in and was known to be one of the greatest for head movement right up there with Mike Tyson.

Prime mover in all of this is eyesight, having a dominant peripheral eye. makes you dominant on that side, you have to train reflex and pns and cns to cope and change reception, its fun. and opens many doors, easy its not.![]()

More than anything else that is going to force the fighter into remaining tight and in balance on all moves isnt it?
I mean if you have some out of balance moves those bands are going to emphasize it yeah?

The old string method was part of my training in the 50's. The coach had it neck high, riding next to your neck and streached across the gym. As you shadow boxed and moved forward, you had to duck under the string just enough to get on the other side with your head, or to duck directly under the string and come back to your original head positon. You also did standing spar with your opponet throwing a continual left or right at your face, and you had to cover and move your head side to side, or duck.
Heres one half way in using a rope ladder.
